NOW HIRING: STEM Educator for School-Year Field Trips
 
We’re looking for a STEM Educator to join our team for a few hours a week, primarily Monday - Friday from 9 AM to 12 PM, for our fantastic STEM roller skating field trips. No teaching degree is required, but a love for kids, some science knowledge, and an energetic personality are a must! This position is perfect for stay-at-home parents, educators on leave, college or graduate students pursuing an education degree, or substitute teaching staff seeking hands-on experience.
 
Position: STEM Educator (Per Diem)
 
United Skates of America, with over 50 years of experience in recreation and entertainment facility management, We are eager to welcome enthusiastic candidates to our team at United Skates Clovis  located at 2881 Peach Avenue . Our beautiful roller-skating facility features roller and in-line skating, a large arcade, a novelty redemption shop, a pizza café, and the best birthday parties in town!
 
As a 2nd STEM Educator, you will:
 
Work together to develop, refine, and present STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) lesson plans for students from kindergarten to high school.
Conduct groundbreaking, copyrighted STEM educational programs for groups ranging from 50 to 250 students, utilizing state-of-the-art audio and video technology.
 
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An engaging stage presence
  • Creativity and a strong ability to improvise
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
  • A knack for relating STEM concepts to everyday life
  • Experience in the STEM fields (a plus)
  • Availability Monday to Friday during school hours (specific days and times will vary based on bookings)
  • Reliable transportation
