Assistant Manager – Part-Time

Join the team at one of Brooklyn’s most scenic attractions, featuring views of Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Statue of Liberty. We’re looking for a motivated, dependable Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Reports To: General Manager
Schedule: Part-time, 15–25 hours per week (primarily weekends, some weekdays; flexible scheduling available)
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Location: 150 Furman Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 (back of Pier 2, near basketball courts)
Position Summary
The Assistant Manager supports daily rink operations, ensuring a clean, safe, fun, and welcoming environment. This role leads by example, assists with staff supervision, and helps maintain smooth, efficient operations during busy sessions and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and oversee daily operations and team members
- Lead by example with a positive, guest-first attitude
- Assist with cash handling and control procedures
- Help manage large guest volumes (100+ guests)
- Contribute to a fun, engaging guest experience
- Learn and assist with business financials and performance metrics
Preferred Qualifications
- Management or operations experience in entertainment, hospitality, restaurant, retail, or related industries
- Proven cash-handling experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
