Job Description

With over 50 years of experience in recreation and entertainment facility management, United Skates of America is seeking an energetic and outgoing Operations Manager to join our team at United Skates of Jackson, located in Jackson Township, NJ.

Our beautiful roller-skating facility, located at 2270 W. County Line Road, Jackson Township, NJ 08527, features roller and inline skating, a large arcade, a novelty redemption shop, a pizza café, and the best birthday parties in town!

We are looking for a motivated and dependable Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure operational efficiency and profitability, manage P&L responsibilities, develop and implement marketing strategies, and uphold the highest standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and profitable performance. 
  •  Manage all P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. 
  •  Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive growth and customer engagement. 
  •  Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. 
  •  Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain high operational standards. 
  •  Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and company policies. 
Qualifications

  •  Proven experience in P&L management and budgeting. 
  •  Strong operational background with staff management and development experience. 
  •  Expertise in sales and marketing, particularly in high-volume retail, restaurant, or entertainment industries. 
  •  Ability to create and implement successful sales and marketing plans. 
  •  Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. 
  •  Prior experience in entertainment, hospitality, restaurant, or retail operations preferred. 
  •  Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  •  Reliable transportation or willingness to relocate to the Jackson Township area. 
  •  Availability to work some holidays. 
  •  Experience in high-volume environments (e.g., fast food, hospitality, or entertainment) is a plus. 
Schedule

  •  Full-Time, Salaried Position 
  •  Day, Evening, and Night Shifts (Weekend availability required) 
  •  Reports To: Regional Manager 
  •  Travel required for training (1–2 weeks, company compensated)
