United Skates of America, Inc. is excited to continue expanding our family entertainment centers nationwide! With over 50 years of experience in recreation and entertainment facility management, we are seeking a motivated, outgoing, and bilingual (Spanish/English) Sales & Event Coordinator to join our FUN management team at Skate World, located at 7510 Paula Dr., Ste A, Tampa, FL.

Our roller-skating facility features roller and in-line skating, a large arcade, a novelty redemption shop, a pizza café, and the best birthday parties in town!

Position Overview

The Sales & Event Coordinator is responsible for driving group sales, building community partnerships, and promoting events. This is an in-person role and plays a key part in growing our local presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact public and private schools, churches, clubs, scouts, youth groups, and local businesses to book group events

  • Schedule fundraising events, birthday parties, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) field trips

  • Conduct outside sales and cold calling to generate new business

  • Promote events through social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram

  • Serve as a key holder and open the building after completing training

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Exceptional time-management skills

  • Outside sales experience (required)

Experience Requirements

  • Sales: 2 years (required)

  • Cold calling: 1 year (required)

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Compensation & Schedule

  • $18.00 per hour + bonus plan

  • Monday–Friday, 15–20 hours per week

  • Flexible schedule; daytime hours preferred

  • Hours may increase during peak seasons

  • Job Type: Part-Time, Hourly
